Terms of service

These terms are the contract between you and Bilge Dönmez, the operator of ReelsMaker (details in our Legal notice). By creating an account or buying a plan you agree to them. Plans and credit packs are sold by our online reseller Paddle.com (see section 3). Please read these terms, especially sections 4 to 6 about payments, cancellation and refunds.

1. The service

ReelsMaker lets you create short videos from photos, clips, text and music in your browser. Some features use artificial intelligence (AI scripts, AI Voice, subtitles and translation, Reel AI videos). We may improve or change features over time. If a change removes a main feature of a paid plan you already bought, you can cancel and get a pro-rata refund for the unused period.

2. Your account

You need an account to use ReelsMaker. You must be at least 14 years old; paid plans are for adults (18+) or require a parent's or guardian's consent. Keep your password safe. You are responsible for what happens in your account.

3. Plans and prices

Prices are in euros. For customers in the EU and UK they include VAT; in some other countries sales tax is added at checkout. The price you pay is the one shown at checkout.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Paddle's Buyer Terms also apply to your purchase. We never see your full card number. Your rights in section 5 apply in addition to Paddle's terms.

4. Subscriptions, renewal and cancellation

• Pro renews automatically at the end of each period (month or year) and is charged to the same payment method, until you cancel.
• You can cancel at any time in the app: Billing → Manage subscription → Cancel. Pro stays active until the end of the period you already paid for, and it will not renew.
• You can switch from monthly to yearly in Billing. You are charged the yearly price minus the unused part of your current month.
• If we change the price of Pro, we will email you at least 30 days before the change applies to your next renewal. You can cancel before then.

5. Your 14-day right of withdrawal and refunds

If you are a consumer in the EU, you have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The 14 days start on the day you buy. A short summary is on our Refund policy page.

Pro plan

Pro starts as soon as you pay, because you ask us to start immediately. If you withdraw within 14 days, we refund the full price minus the value of the Reel AI credits you already used. That value is your payment divided by the credits included in your plan, multiplied by the credits you used, so it can never be more than the price you paid. For example, if you used 20 credits on Pro monthly (€14.90 for 200 credits), €1.49 is deducted. This amount reflects the service you already used.

Credit packs

Credits are digital content delivered immediately. Before you pay, you expressly ask for immediate delivery and confirm that you lose your right of withdrawal once the credits are added to your account. For this reason credit packs cannot be refunded after purchase, except where the law requires it (for example, if the credits do not work).

How to withdraw

Use the Withdraw from contract here button on your Account page (menu → Account), or send a clear statement by email to support@reelsmaker.io, for example:

We confirm receipt by email and refund you within 14 days. The refund is paid by Paddle, our reseller, to the same payment method you used to pay. You pay no fees for the refund.

6. Credits

• One credit creates one second of Reel AI video, sound included. A six-second video uses 6 credits.
• Purchased credits are valid for 1 year from the purchase date and carry over from month to month.
• Credits have no cash value and cannot be transferred to another account.

7. Your content

Your photos, clips, audio, text and the videos you create stay yours. You give us only the permission we need to store, process and show them to you so the service works. We do not use your content to train AI models and we do not share it publicly.

You must have the rights to everything you upload, including music, images and the likeness of people who appear in your videos.

How long we store your files. AI videos and clips you upload to our servers are kept for as long as you are on Pro. On the Free plan they are kept for 30 days after you create them. When a Pro plan ends, they are kept for 90 more days (and at least 30 days after you create them). We email you at least 7 days before we delete anything, so you can download it or go Pro. Reels in My Archive are stored only in your browser on your device, not on our servers. Please keep your own copy of anything important.

8. Rules of use

Do not use ReelsMaker to create or share content that:

• is illegal, hateful, violent, sexual involving minors, or harasses anyone;
• infringes copyright, trademarks or other people's rights;
• imitates a real person's voice or face without their consent, or is designed to mislead people;
• contains malware or tries to break, overload or reverse-engineer the service.

We may remove such content and suspend or close accounts that break these rules. For serious or repeated breaches we may do this without notice.

9. AI features

AI output (scripts, voices, translations, Reel AI videos) is generated automatically and may contain mistakes. Check it before you publish. AI Voice and Reel AI videos are synthetic. Where the law or a platform requires it, label them as AI-generated when you publish them. We may add a machine-readable marker to AI-generated audio and video, as required by the EU AI Act.

10. Stock media and music

Stock photos and videos come from Pexels and are covered by the Pexels license. Music from the ReelsMaker library may be used in videos you create with ReelsMaker, including on social media. You may not extract it and use or sell it separately.

11. Availability

We work to keep ReelsMaker available, but we cannot promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. We may pause the service briefly for maintenance.

12. Liability

We are responsible for damage caused by our intent or gross negligence, and for anything else that the law does not allow us to limit. Otherwise, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the damage. Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer under the law of your country.

13. Ending the contract

You can stop using ReelsMaker and delete your account at any time. Deleting your account does not refund a paid period, except as described in section 5.

14. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by Spanish law. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you can bring a claim in the courts of that country. Please contact us first at support@reelsmaker.io so we can try to solve the problem.

15. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms in an important way, we will tell you by email or in the app at least 30 days before. If you do not agree, you can cancel before the change applies.
